Inn Victoria of Chester, Vermont (BEST Romantic B&B in Vermont) recently received a tremendous gift from an exceptional artist who painted a wall mural in the Prince Albert room. A tremendous blessing indeed!! Thank you Kathy Percoski..!! Already one of our most popular rooms with fireplace, jacuzzi, two person shower, hot tub, big flat screen TV; this room will surely delight your stay with us.
Born and raised in a rural town in Northeast Connecticut, Kathleen Percoski was inspired to paint from nature at an early age, just eleven. She studied painting with a local art teacher for four years and began to specialize in detailed landscapes and seascapes. A lover of antiques and all things Victoriana, she also taught herself to restore antique gilded frames for her artwork. She competed, and won, in several local art exhibitions, and participated in the Litchfield Arts and Crafts Fair. Kathy also designed, custom-built and decorated her own home, built on a mountainside of 100 acres of family property. Her artistic skills grew to encompass reupholstering antique chairs and refinishing furniture, but her first passion is creating oil-on-canvas scenes of natural beauty.
