One of our most popular rooms, Prince Alfred is a spacious 2nd story, stately room, thoughtfully furnished with elegant antiques. Retreat to this room and experience a true getaway from the hectic pace of everyday life. A very quiet and spacious retreat; the room is ideal for lengthy stays.
The large sheep-skin rug positioned in front of the fireplace simply adds to the romance. Situated across from the fireplace, the queen bed has a beautiful antique mahogany frame and is dressed in a white laced top over triple 1800 count sheets on a feather comforter.
Directly above the mantle is a large flat screen TV with very fast WiFi access and cable TV channels. Several antiques add to the flavor of the atmosphere, as do the antique lace window treatments. Offering the best of both worlds this romantic hideaway also offers modern amenities such as a refrigerator, seasonal air conditioning, a newly refurbished bath featuring a slipper soaking tub and an antique oak vanity with an above-counter basin, antique mirror, and a beautiful shower.
There are two queen beds, comfortably providing room for four. An additional $50/person/night for additional persons beyond the initial rate for a couple.
