Just down the road from the home roots of Poland Spring Water Co. is the Poland Spring Inn and just beyond that is Cyndi’s Dockside Restaurant, a fun restaurant right on the shores of Middle Range Pond.
Penny and I took a little three day quiet time vacation just to ourselves and decided to head to some old stomping grounds in Maine…so off we went to Rangely.
We have a secret cabin in the western mountains of Maine (no longer a secret) that we escape to from time to time for some R&R and just get closer to each other. On the way we stopped at a nice restaurant that we have always wanted to try, and are we glad we did!
Cyndi’s Dockside Restaurant on Rt # 26 on the shores of Middle Range Pond, is like taking a step back to the days of the grand hotels in the woods of Maine were a special escape for the rich and famous. Fresh air, no noise, crystal clear lakes and in the case of Cyndi’s Dockside Restaurant, great food!
Penny had a tuna wrap and I had a lobster roll. The best way to enjoy a lobster roll is to have a grilled bun stuffed with lobster meat chunks, a little lettuce and warm butter………ahhhh, heaven!
