Here is another gracious nomination by guests Susanne and Paul Lucas.

The Inn Victoria is delightful in every way you would want an inn to be. As soon as you step in to the warm, inviting foyer/parlor, you feel as though a wonderful stay is about to begin. By the time you leave you are certain you’ve experienced a true spirit of welcome into a truly special place. Hosts Penny and Dan somehow manage to provide spectacular breakfasts while chatting with guests, providing directions and making recommendations for Southern Vermont attractions. Over breakfast, it’s easy to make friends with other guests – friendships that may deepen as you share a glass of wine on the front porch in the evening.
In the parlor, seating is soft and comfortable. There are many books, magazines and games, while the charming old piano beckons anyone to play. At the end of our daily outings, we especially appreciated the delicious home-made treats put out for our enjoyment.
Penny, Dan, Jessica and all of the staff seem to work together in a beautifully choreographed ballet that is warm and attentive, but never too much so.The rooms are clean, bright and comfortable, the food is more than wonderful, and the welcome feeling is something you will remember until your next visit.
We nominate the Inn Victoria for Innkeeper of the Year.
