Inn Victoria of Chester, Vermont is nominated for the 2014 VT Chamber Hospitality Award

Borden E. Avery Innkeeper of the Year.
This award is designed for individuals who continue to demonstrate excellence in the operation and management of a Vermont bed & breakfast, inn or a hotel.

Dan and Penny Cote are tireless promoters of Vermont, and specifically Chester, Vermont. They run The Inn Victoria. It is charming, warm, inviting, and just plain delightful! Beyond rooms that are impeccably maintained and appointed, Dan & Penny offer a unique experience like no other. Serving an English-Style high tea to their guests as well as tourists and locals from the community, this is a stop not to be missed.

Dan and Penny give back to the community serving on the Okemo Valley Regional Chamber of Commerce Board of Directors and Marketing Committee. They have been featured in magazines such as Yankee and New England Traveler. They started an Inn to Inn walking tour demonstrating that they live by the principles of working together with other businesses and other inn keepers in the community. They are true leaders. They mentor and develop their staff, and are always coming up with new ways to provide a remarkable experience for their guests. Gracious, witty funny, and kind—if you haven’t met them, take one look at their 5 star rating on Trip Advisor and you will realize that among all the Inns in Vermont, Dan & Penny deserve to be Inn Keepers of the year!
