Springfield Garden Club Enjoys High Tea at Inn Victoria

For the third year in a row, the Springfield Garden Club enjoys High Tea at Inn Victoria in Chester, Vermont.  Marita Johnson came prepared for the Victorian flair with her special feather hat and Magic Dress from Country on the Common, a fantastic ladies boutique here in Chester, VT.
The Garden Club does extraordinary work in beautifying selected properties in the South Central Vermont area, through their gardening and design skills.  Their notoriety extends from some of these projects:

  • Planting and maintenance of Main Street planters and flower beds at the downtown flagpole, town hall, plaza traffic island, Route 10/106 island, the Eureka Shoolhouse, the Toonerville Trail path, especially the Iron Bridge Memorial Garden on the Trail
  • Planting and maintenance at the Springweather Wildlife Nature Habitat in North Springfield
  • Perennial garden at TARPS
  • Restoration of gardens at the historic Dan Foster House in cooperation with the Weathersfield Historical Society

This is one BUSY group!  Thank you ladies for using Inn Victoria High Tea as a part of your planning process for the year.  We hope you will return this spring to offer some hints for Victoria’s Secret Garden.
