The all American diner is a wonderful experience no matter where you go in the USA, but diners in the New England states hold a special love for most people. The Country Girl Diner in Chester, Vermont is one of those nostalgic loves of the open road.
Although I’ve written several blogs about the Country Girl Diner, I am compelled to write another…I just love it sooo much! Penny and I visit often for comfort food such as pie…the world best, smash burgers…an original onion mix within the hand patty of USDA Beef. 
Take a look at these photos and be jealous, or better yet, make the trip. A great family restaurant for locals, I’ll often spot more out of state plates and motorcycles in the parking lot than VT plates. 
I guess the word is out…One of New England’s finest dining experiences is at the Country Girl Diner in Chester, VT.
