Where to Stay When Visiting the Vermont Country Store

Vermont is known for its quintessential villages and the Country Store.  None are more iconic than the original Vermont Country Store located only a few miles drive from Vermont’s most Romantic B&B, Inn Victoria, of Chester Vt.

So many people visit Vermont for its authentic beauty, clean air and water,

as well as a taste for the simple life of years gone by.  Each of the small villages along the scenic route 100 byway including Jamaica, Weston, Grafton, Chester, Ludlow, Proctorsville & Londonderry in the South Central portion of the state, are indeed quintessential villages with a center green and …yes, a country store.  In fact there are 13 country stores within a 10 mile radius of Inn Victoria in Chester.  One could take a whole day doing the Country Store circuit eating the free samples of local cheese varieties (of which there are over 200), local meat sausage, jams, preserves, and maple products.

When traveling the area, stop into a Vermont Country Store.  When in Weston or Rockingham, stop into the original Vermont Country Store.  And when doing so, stay at Inn Victoria, a Romantic Bed and Breakfast.
