 If you decide to do a 5-6 hour float, Inn Victoria will pack you a picnic lunch.  Some of the sights along the way may include the longest covered bridge in the East, infamous bald eagles nesting along the river, deer, ducks….oh and the fishing is tremendous!   
After making it back to the river bank, pack up and drive a mile down the road to Harpoon Brewery, get a tour of how their famous beer is made, and stay for a Vermont Sample platter and dinner.                                               
If you decide to take in the 2-3 hour float; land your canoe at the Path of Life Garden, which is an affiliate of Great River Outfitters. The Path of Life Sculpture Garden is art for the mind, body and soul. Its artist, Terry McDonnell has been working on it for 16+ years.  Designed to tell the story of life by sculpture, it is an unforgettable experience.
